Vative have mapped the Internationally Motorola Lean Practitioner/Expert/MasterCertified programs to Australian Standards for Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Graduate Diploma. This three day lean training workshop in conjunction with a 12 month delivery program attracts full government funding to eligible participants and may be delivered to businesses within all industry sector. The program can be delivered onsite or within an open class environment amongst other businesses striving to implement Lean initiatives. Each Lean practioner must complete the following to become internationally and Australian Certified:
Participant in three day workshops and demonstrate skills through Lean simulation
Complete an online open book examination of the Lean theory
Conduct a Value Stream Map of a business process
Drive Value Stream actions for improvements through Six-Sigma DMAIC approach
Plan and implement 5S plus one other relevant Lean tool within the workplace

Vative assist Motorola University to develop the first internationally certified Lean program. Similar to Motorola's Six Sigma Green, Black and Master Black Belt training and certification, the Lean package offers levels of internationally certified training for Lean Practioner, Lean Expert and Lean Master. The program is targeted towards senior managers of an organisation and involves the following over a 3-4 day duration:
Education about the history of Lean and all the tools required to implement a successful lean system
Four rounds of simulation workshops to help educate particapants about how lean tools are applied and the benefits to an organisation
Optional business operations forensic (Lean Business Health Check)
Optional Value Stream Mapping of business processes
Implementation of real projects (Required only for certification)

Robert Bosch use Vative services to improve Kanban Systems for most complex production process & help eliminate missed deliveries.

The product group LWS (a smartly engineered steering wheel angle sensor) supplies to a worldwide market. This huge demand has created a large number of product variants each uniquely design to suit customer specific needs.

This expanse of variety in product design and high volumes of manufacture has caused a complex and hard to maintain Kanban system to evolve.

The complexity of the system made it very hard to monitor what efficient levels of stocks should be stored for each variant manufactured.
Vative have assisted Robert Bosch to design a system that makes all the following improvements:

Single point control of entire Kanban system for area
Better utilisation of stock by holding stock of only completed goods which are useful to the customer and eliminating work in progress stock piles
27% overall stock reduction while increasing useful safety stock by 200%
Improving visual controls of work in progress levels between prior assembly processes by use of FIFO lanes
Development of a Kanban roadmap to indicate when product should be added or removed from Kanban
Development of capacity planning tool according to product specific process flows
Improved design over Kanban card to list sub assembly part number and process route
Simplification of card generating system
Amplification of breakdowns and line stoppages issues for quicker resolution

Mackay Multilinkuse Vative Services to Launch Lean and increase Process Efficiency by 57%. This project was implemented over a 6 month period executing major improvements and changes as follows:
Standard times developed for entire assembly process
Capacity planning tool developed to allow production planning teams to clearly set assembly team targets and improve planning and forecasting systems
Development of work scheduling board (Heijunka) to assist production in demand clarity and materials preparations
Improved workplace design and elimination of high risk injury operations by implementation of lifting aids for axle fitting area. These aids also increased productivity
Development of Kanban system for logistical largest and highest inclusive cost item (Frame) eliminating demand shortages, improving process flow and stock transparency
Plant layout plans developed and redesigned to eliminate shared pedestrian and forklift access areas, improved process flow, line marking and better utilisation of stores area
